The progressive dinner party is pretty much one of the best inventions since the whistle-stop bar tour. So applying that concept to an alcove of cool Angeleno dining spots with a group of enthusiastic foodie strangers could only be.. even more fun! Thankfully Food GPS does just this! If you missed last fall's progressive dining tours of Santa Monica and Downtown, all is not lost. This Sunday, July 25, the next chapter showcases Beverly Boulevard and four of its great restaurants: Eva, BLD, MILK and The Golden State.
Food GPS says to expect one dish, drink or dessert from each, and that "one will be fried, one will come in sandwich form, but won’t involve meat or produce, and one dish will likely arrive in a bowl, but won’t be soup." Hmm!
The walking tour begins at Eva at 3 PM and costs $45 per person, including tax and tip. Visit amusela.com to purchase tickets. If you have any questions, please e-mail organizer and tour guide Joshua Lurie at joshua@foodgps.com.
Isn't this just like a Food Marathon?
